Description: Learn how workers can fight back against anti-union legislation that aims to hurt workers. Explore examples of successful campaigns like PLCB and privatization attempts, Paycheck Deception, and Workers Comp.
*Financial Security for You and Your Family

Description: Financial security impacts every aspect of our lives so preparing for the future is more important than ever. This workshop explores financial security through personal savings, 401(k)s, IRAs, and pensions. It will also show the value of saving small amounts over a long period of time, and offer tips on what to consider as you approach improving your financial security.
*Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace

Description: We are stronger when we stand united as one. This workshop will explore the concept of strength in diversity, but also discuss how as union leaders, we must represent all members equally.
*The Global Economy and Unions
Facilitators: Mark Lauritsen, International Vice President and Director of the Food Processing, Packing and Manufacturing Division; Chris Snyder, Lead Representative, UFCW Local 1776
Description: Learn how Local 1776 has reached out to and worked with various sisters and brothers in other countries to benefit Local 1776 members, whether in organizing or collective bargaining. Firsthand accounts and experiences will be discussed about the role of the UFCW within the International Union of Food, Agricultural, Hotel, Restaurant, Catering and Allied Workers (IUF) organization and how global solidarity operates and functions in this global economy.
