1776 hosts Vice President Joe Biden at Pittston office

UFCW Local 1776 was honored to have the opportunity to host a meeting of Vice President Joe Biden and labor family, friends and staff  at the local's Pittston, PA office (on July 3.

In remarks to the gathering, the Vice President acknowledged the long-time relationship he’s enjoyed with Local 1776,  mentioning the leadership of 1776 President Wendell W. Young IV and his father, President Emeritus Wendell W. Young, III.   Joining the Vice President was U.S. Sen. Bob Casey, who introduced his fellow Scranton-native Biden.
