Idaho Gov., House Leader say 'no' to alcohol privatization; Scotland's top doc says 'end supermarket sales'; and VA Gov. backs off, too


Contrary to the impression that PA State Rep. Mike Turzai and his band of privateers try to create, the wisdom of liquor sale privatization is not an open and shut case around the country and around the world.   Visit here to read how the Governor of Idaho and the House Majority leader in that state -- both Republicans -- are saying 'NO' to proposals to privatize alchol sales.   At the same time, the leading doctor in Scotland is calling for an end to ;liquor sales in supermarkets and corner stores to stem an abuse problem in that nation -- story here.  And in Virginia, the Governor is not pressing forward on his proposal to privatize alcohol sales.  Read that story here.
