Jon Stewart pokes fun at flaws in Voter ID laws
Jon Stewart calls Voter ID laws exactly what they are: restrictive, oppressive and totally unnecessary. Stewart took the issue to his The Daily Show on August 8, pointing out that even conservatives openly admitt they’re not sure what the law will accomplish.
The new law, set to be implemented this November, will require all voters to present a proper photo-ID before casting a ballot. Voter ID laws are being pushed almost entirely in swing-states with Republican-controlled legislatures before this coming election. Coincidence? We think not. Watch Stewart’s humorous take on the issue.
