Noted author Barbara Ehrenreich joins battle to make Walmart a responsible company

Best selling author Barbara Ehrenreich -- whose highly praised book "Nickel and Dimed: On (Not) Getting by in America" included research she did while working for Walmart -- has joined in solidarity with current and former Walmart associates by officially becoming a member of the Organization United for Respect at Walmart (OUR Walmart.)

OUR Walmart is an organization made up entirely of current and former employees of the giant company.  Making Change at Walmart is a campaign by the International UFCW and its locals, including Local 1776, and their allies who stand with the Walmart associates as they join together to gain more respect on the job and to improve working conditions, their company and their lives.
