Prepare now! PA's Voter ID Law Takes Effect in Nov! Don't Let Anyone Deny You Your Right to Vote!

Pennsylvania's new Voter Identification law takes effect in the November General Election.  At that time, every voter will be required to produce a valid form of photo identification in order to vote -- no matter how long the voter has lived at the same location or voted at the same location.

If you have a religious objection to a photo identification, you can apply to the state for an exemption and receive a non-photo ID.  This process requires the applicant to respond to a series of invasive and highly inappropriate questions about one's religion, however -- questions that are being challenged by the civil liberties community.  Watch the Local 1776 website for updates on developments.
