Could Mitt Romney be more out of touch? Here's a "must view:" the video that Mother Jones magazine uncovered in which Romney tells wealthy contributors that "47 percent" of Americans will vote for President Obama no matter what. He calls them "people who pay no income tax" who "are dependent on government." Then he delivers his big slam: "My job is not to worry about those people."
It's hard to imagine that the 2012 Obama/Biden reelection effort could have gotten off to a better official start. The pundits are raving about the energy in the Convention hall, and are predicting a huge "bump" for the Democratic ticket.
First, Romney. Now, Santorum. Both telling lies about President Obama's welfare proposals. Philadelphia Daily News writer Will Bunch asks what to do when guys like this claim that the President wants to get rid of work requirements. Simple, he concludes.
