Immigration Information 1776 members featured in Inspirational Immigration Ads Jun 10, 2016 During the March 9th Democratic Debate, Ads featuring our very own JBS Members and a Cargill Member ran on Univision. The topic was immigration; how our Union family has helped so many members achieve their dream of becoming U.S. citizens and encourages our diverse membership to be politically active.  Our Citizenship Workshops have made a huge difference in our members' lives. Local 1776 hosts Immigration workshop for members May 20, 2015 UFCW Local 1776 hosted a series of immigration trainings that took place from February 26th – 28th at the Hazelton One Community Center in Hazelton, PA. Cargill and JBS Stewards and rank-and-file members were trained on Deferred Action for Parental Accountability (DAPA), Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), and the process to become a U.S. citizen.
