President's Message -Let's Stay Safe! Posted On: Dec 20, 2020 Dear UFCW Local 1776 members,   Last week, PA Governor Tom Wolf and Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine established new protocols to stop the spread of Covid-19 and keep people safe. Click here for more information on the new PA directives.     This week, healthcare workers in America are receiving the first round of the Covid-19 vaccine.  The UFCW is fighting hard to ensure that frontline, essential workers – like the members of this union – are included in the initial wave of vaccinations. I sent a letter to elected leaders throughout our jurisdiction urging them to include our industries in their early vaccination plans. You have been doing an incredible job serving your communities in the face of this pandemic and deserve every protection possible to keep you safe. You can read more about that here.   Until the vaccine is widely available, we must remain vigilant.   Wear your mask or faceshield, practice social distancing and keep your hands clean.
