Local 1776 is saddened to report that Charles Young, longtime Acme member, union steward and Local 1776 Vice President has passed away.

Charles was beloved by his union family for his kind smile and dedication to his fellow members.

Charles was instrumental in the founding of UFCW OUTReach and was a role model for out union members within the UFCW and the wider labor movement.

We send our love to Fred, Charles' husband and their family at this time.
